From a school project to Digi9ine.
“From one POS system for my father to systems for businesses around the world, the goal has never changed: make work easier with the right technology.”
- 01Nalanda College
The spark
At Nalanda College, IT was already in my blood. I always wanted to create something new: software, web apps, anything I could build. I didn’t have all the knowledge yet, so I researched constantly and taught myself whatever it took.
- 02A POS for my father’s business
My first web app
My first real build was a point-of-sale system for my father’s business, coded in HTML, PHP and CSS. It taught me how websites and web apps really work, and showed me how much time the right system can save a business.
- 03South Eastern University of Sri Lanka
Management and IT
I earned my degree in Management and Information Technology, learning how technology and business decisions shape each other.
- 04Logo9ine
Branding for the world
That curiosity grew into branding. I started Logo9ine and designed logos and brand identities for clients across the US, the UK and Europe.
- 05DigiQuarters
Technology for B2B
Next came DigiQuarters, where we built websites, ran digital marketing and delivered IT projects for B2B clients. Once it was established, I stepped away to build what came next.
- 06The AI era
Rapid systems
When AI arrived, everything changed. I moved to building systems at a speed that was not possible before, and we developed our own strategies, workflows and AI pathways, working with different models and building our own.
- 07Digi9ine
Closing the gap
Too many businesses, small and large, still depend on manual work that holds back their productivity. Digi9ine gives them affordable systems that make work easier and grow with them: simple when that is enough, advanced when it is needed, and always at the speed of AI.
